Adrian Miller, lawyer, author, and 21st century Renaissance man, is known as the Soul Food Scholar. During the dinner, he will present a brief overview of his book, Soul Food: The Surprising Story of an American Cuisine, One Plate at a Time, a thrilling celebration and thoughtful commentary on both the history of soul food and its relationship to the greater African American experience.
