A Poem Written in Memory of Bob Kokesh

God of Justice
Help me to see
Where I have not been
The playgrounds
The prisons
The nursing homes
The businesses
The neighborhoods
The convenient stores
The broken homes
Where hatred and power
And sense of entitlements
Keep on abusing and confusing
And delighting in evil
God of Justice
Help me to be
Where courage is needed
Not just in the hearing
But in making a way
For prayers to be answered
Even today
– Pastor Anthony

Dedicated to my dear friend, a chaplain for justice, Robert Kokesh. Bob was a member of Westminster Church.
