By joint resolution of the General Assembly of New Jersey, the Lambertville Church and its Cub Scout Pack #32 was recognized for their recent food collection drive to benefit food banks in the Hunterdon, Somerset County region. Through February 2016 the pack collected over 30,000 pounds of non-perishable supplies for the food banks. The resolution of both Houses sponsored by State Senator Turner further commends the Scouts and leaders for their dedication to the local community and those in need.
The Church has enjoyed a 61 year continuous relationship with Boy Scouting, one of the longest such in the State and Nation. And is one of the 8 different community based groups and programs housed or supported by the Church proper.
